Join us at Mere Bulles on Saturday, January 28th • 11 a.m – 1 p.m.

This first-ever event will invite brides and their guests to enjoy mimosas and hors d’oeuvres while experiencing the beautiful event space within The Maryland Manor.

Unlike a traditional bridal show, we will host a limited selection of specialized vendors to participate, all of which will integrate into the event with demonstrations, take-away information and a chance to meet-and-greet with brides. Mere Bulles is the perfect setting for a business power lunch, date night or a special celebration. Savor a cup of our notorious she crab bisque prior to feasting on succulent seared fish. Wine is always half-priced by the bottle, so treat yourself or top off that delicious meal by sharing a bottle with a friend, loved one, coworker or guest. Take advantage of Tennessee’s beautiful spring weather by settling into the bright and vibrant indoor patio, the elegant outdoor patio, or perch yourself on our one-of-a-kind balcony overlooking the nearby hills.

A look back at historic Brentwood, TN

This story was originally published by Brentwood Homepage

Yesterday, Brentwood Home Page reported that Williamson, Inc., discovered in its archives various artifacts from Brentwood’s early years, which the chamber hopes to donate to the city.

Included in those items is a video entitled The Horse and It’s Heritage in Tennessee, produced by Maryland Farms and narrated by J. Truman Ward.

Ward owned Maryland Farms before it was developed into an office park, when the property was mostly farmland and a horse track.

The video is a combination of a sales video for his farm, as well as a historic depiction of several other farms in the area.

Also shown in the video is American Ace, the famous American Standardbred horse owned by Ward. American Ace is buried near the horse barn/office off of Ward Circle.

Note: There are minor start and stops in the video. The total running time nears 15 minutes.
